He trabajado como fotoperiodista durante más de 20 años. Mi trabajo ha sido publicado en varios periódicos y libros, entre ellos The New York Times, The Independent (Londres), The Observer (Londres), Liberation (Francia), El Periódico (Catalunya), el World Press Master Class (1995) y 10 mujeres por la Libertad de Prensa (Reporter Onze Grenzon, 2002). Estudié Fotografía Documental en Newport School of Art and Design i  en Gales.

Gané el 'Young British Photographer of the Year' en 1994 (The Guild of British Picture Editors) i The Tom Hopkinson Bursary (1993). A l'any 1995 yo fuí uno de los 10 fotógrafos jovenes en el mundo elegidas para participar en el World Press Master Class.
